          Nick,
Sorry about your fish. I've been tempted to get some, but haven't done enough research. Your pics are awsome. Many of these gill parasites are naturally found on most fish. They're just waiting for the right (wrong) conditions, such as stress from shipping, a crowed pet store tank. It really sucks. I hope the rest of your fish do better. Keep posting. Great write up.

I keep zhoui and some duospilis. Still not big enough to breed, but I'm getting there. I made a mix of Hikari Sprilulina brine and PE mysis. I keep it frozen in a block in the freezer and chop up a little bit every few days. From my reading DO is really important for them. With the flow going through your tank that shouldnt be such a big deal. I have them in a 10, with a 2211, a 10-gal UG, and a marineland HOB rated for 10 gallons. I haven't lost one yet, but I always QT them in a 2.5 for 2 weeks before they go into a display. In the QT they get prazi (and enough garlic) in the food, a 1/2 dose of quick cure, and a 1/2 dose of bifuran. That combo for me has been real good so far.

I have been feeding mine freeze dried blood worms and sprilulina shrimp... I am going to try frozen next week...

That is the mistake I made I was impatient and didn't listen to the people I bought the second group from then didn't QT and treat them for parasites etc... Lesson learned... I have 2 males from my original order and I am hoping two females from the second order. If not females (I am still not 100% sure). I will try to get some females...

Man those duospilis are some nice looking fish.

So the last zhoui from the second order died this morning :( the parasites really messed them up. All I have left now is the two males from my first order. They are growing and eating and digging little caves all over the place.

Now I need to decide if I want to try and find some Zhoui females, or sell my males and get a different type of Rhinogobius.

Strangely, I tried google image search and nothing comes up? Do you have a link to some info/pics? the other two you listed look nice as well.
