I drained my 30 gallon tank on Tuesday and I didn't think there was any critters left in there. Today I went to move the tank and I saw a bristlenose in there that was apparently hiding from me when I took the spixi snails and another pleco out. So, I grabbed the net to get out what I thought was a dead fish and it started flopping around! There was a little bit of water in the gravel and I guess he had just enough water for his mouth to be in and survive. I thought this was the craziest thing ever that he didn't dry out and die.

2012-06-24_15-45-36_978.jpgIt's hard to tell in this picture but this is how little water he was in. You can kind of see the water line on the front. He'll be able to impress the ladies with this story lol

Never mind the zombie invasion ,beware of the lung developing plecos ! they will climb out in the middle of the night and ......... breath? lolDon't tell fish stories where people know you; but particularly, don't tell them where they know the fish.
