    nerites lay eggs in FW but they are not viable.

    one thing to remember about cats is that they are opportunistic feeders in most cases. if they have barbels then they are night ambush predators and will eat most anything that they can put in their mouths. they will look very innoscent the next day when you wonder where your fish went

      Feather fin has barbels but also a very small mouth, can't eat anything very big at all

        see how small his mouth is, body length is 6" along with his tankmates which are a bit bigger...

          +1 on the Synodontis because it will maintain the Tanganyika theme of the tank.

            yeah its the same with corydorus, i think they actually use their barbels to sense food in the substrate though rather than using them as night radar
