Hey everyone, went to Petsmart today and saw this little guy. They have ones that they call Spotted Hi Fin Plecos and this guy was in there with them but looked nothing like them. Was wondering if anyone might know what type this might be. These are the best pics I could get of it right now. Thanks for any help that can be given!

It looks like a sail fin/high fin pleco to me?
It just has a slightly different pattern than the normal ones, but I saw a similar pic of that pleco on planet catfish.

See, the shape looks the same but every pic I see, including the link you provided does not look like mine too me. All of the pics I see have actual spots while the one I got looks more like the leopard frog pleco pattern. They are more random stripes than spots. Possibly just the same pleco but a slightly different pattern? I don't know... All I see is a sail fin/high fin pleco.

Maybe your right. Either way, I liked its pattern. Nice looking fish for 6 bucks. And I know, I know, they get big!

Hmm.. From the pics you posted, they look somewhat similar. I had that pleco that you linked. Mine didn't have any stripes just brownish spots. It's just a big a*$ pleco. Honestly, there's too many of them for me to keep up with. I just pick out what I like and if I don't like how it looks, I just don't get it. I have a bristlenose pleco and I still have no idea what kind it is because I haven't seen any like it... There's just too many of them! I'll stick to calling it a mystery BN pleco
