  • Catfish ID

Got this guy a 2 years or more ago from FG,but apparently neglected to remember exactly what he is and i'm getting stumped on google trying to find an id for him.
Reason i ask is, he was purchased at a time when i was still just buying blind, he's survived through some tough times and he's getting quite large now, if i could id him i could find out just how large he'll eventually get and whether rehoming him might be a good plan.

Hopefully that will help, he's really black and silver, darker than the pic suggests, and he has a rounded, if very slightly v'd tail, so he's not a type of channel cat so far as i can tell

http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/families.php I would say it is a type of Ictaluridae which is the family channel cats belong too. Check out this nifty guide like thing I found.
