Are the shells left behind when the clown loachs eat the mts? My huge(350) has a ton of mts in it and I also have clown loachs in it. There are about 8 right now and one other medium sized loach. I haven't noticed anything consumed by any of the loachs. The mts have gone wild seeing as how I feed tons of flakes to my petros in the tank. One and only one of the loachs may be eating snails
because that one has grown a Lot since I got them.
One other thing, I've tried using assassins in my tanks but they don't seem to breed(maybe because of the aragonite substrate) I've read they reproduce best in more nutral type water. Isn't this the case?
