      99.9% sure it's not an L270

      It's an L204

            Im in the same vote , im still very confused with this whole bristlenosed/pleco thing.

            All i know is my bristlenose is a (antricrus) type catfish

            but im very interested to learn more off you guys as il be purchasing a pleco in the future

              Look at L316 or L340. my guess is L340.

                    i bought them as common bristlenose , i beleive there from the ancitrus family catfish

                      Looks like bristlenoses to me. Maybe females only the males get bristles.

                          That mystery Pleco, Plantedtank thinks it's a L129.
                          Anywho, going to go to Tim's place and check out the new plecos.

                              ok guys i have a question
                              do you have to have these catfish by themselves in a tank to breed them or can you have them with guppys etc and still breed ?>

                                I think TexSun had some fish living with them when he was factory breeding his. I keep many of mine together because they're still young. The older ones I keep separate.
