My 2 clowns have lost there vibrant black and orange colour and become dull, they also have some blue looking lines on them?

    Are they okay?

I can try and get better photos using camera if necessary

It can and will happen from time to time. Mine would do it in times of stress. I always just changed the tank water and changed there diet to frozen foods for a little while and color would always return. I wouldn't worry about it.

Yes water change should help. Clown loaches that start to dull usually means poor water quality. What size thank and what kind of filtration are you using?

It's 4 foot tank about 200ltrs and currently using an internal Fluval u4 while cycling a external filter with a UV steriliser, water parameters are the same as usual
