          Depending on the type of algae, the light being off may be contributing to the effects. Have you tested your nitrate levels? What type of lighting do you have?

            Just a regular split light hard to explain, I'll try and get a pic on. But my light has been off straight for like 4-5 days now. How long can be light be off before your fish get affected, if they do .
