Would you fork out this much for 20 fish?
I know they are endangered and all.. but this is ridiculous.
I wonder if anyone actually buys from him.

That's in Germany so maybe the price is driven up there.....I know that a lot of breeders over there are very selective about selling fry.

The price is really not that bad for the size and amount offered.....also looks like 13 people have bought from him.

Well.. they better be quality zeebs to sell them for $500 each.

I've seen many 2.5" - 3" ones going for $300 or less here in the U.S.
I've been tempted many times, but $10,000 seems to be a bit much to risk, especially from someone halfway across the world who has been red flagged in other forums.

I know of one person in the states that have bought from  him without a hitch....he now accepts escrow too so that helps guarantee the sale a bit.

Compared to prices/availability it's not that bad of a deal....if you have the money for it and I have seen prices comparable in the states at times.

Wow.. he's charging $450 for shipping + 4.9% Paypal Fees + 2.5% Exchange Rate fee.....
It's all adding up to be a bit much

It does  add up to a bit much.  They're good looking fish tho, and he packs extremely well.  His prices have gone up a good bit from when he first started selling them on AB.

For the price of the fish. I would fly there pick them up & ship them myself.
That would cut out all the extra fees too.

Well... germany might be a bit far to go pick up fish.....

I was bidding on some 2 weeks ago... had i won, i would have willing drove to Chicago to pick them up myself.
