After being on countless waiting lists for at least a year and a half, I finally got my hands on some.....




The excitement of opening the package was unbearable.

They're just shy of 1.5" so they'll still have lots of growing to do before i get to do any waiting lists.

Yep .. they are from Germany. Browns, i think you kinda know who from. We settled on a price/terms outside the auctions. The auction was just a formality.

I paid much less than what he usually asks for. Quite competitive with the local prices, so i didn't have to break the bank for these.

So far they are doing well in plain 'ol houston tapwater so that's a good sign.
I managed to catch a glimpse of them munching on bloodworms in broad daylight. Perhaps they are still jetlagged.  :o

Careful with the bloodworms....there has been some breeders who have lost juvi's to bloodworms due to choking.

yeah... the seller fed them bloodworms that's why i'm feeding them that now.
I better go find another protein source.
