Re: favorite cory?
My favorite would have to be any of the longfin variety. Currently I have longfin Pandas, Aeneus, Paleatus, Albino Paleatus.
My personal freak favorite is from one of my standard-fin Paleatus spawns. I call him Silver, and he's like a pale Paleatus with a silvery sheen over his entire body - making him look nearly albino, but his pattern is easily seen through the nearly metallic sheen. I've looked in all my tanks and he's the only one with that coloration. I have a few pics of him here with some Aenus and Paleatus cories. I think that first pic got in there because of the little blackline kuhli in the background. That's a standard albino in the forground of that one.

My favorite Corydoras look-alike would have to be the Brochis Britskii. They're like giant Cories - at 3" they don't take any flak from either my fire eel or my peacock eel. Brochis Splendens are often found at pet shops, and are about 1/2 the size of the Britskii - to give you an idea of size, they look similar. The Britskii's eat small earthworms fairly easily, and suck up California blackworms like vacuum cleaners.
