Re: Aegla
I bought some of those a good while back from a guy in Germany. It was arranged by another seller in Germany. Unfortunately I didn't get notified that the seller had finally shipped them on their way, (there was a delay in sending due supposedly to some customs crap or something) and they sat at the post office for a few days while I was out of town. Needless to say, by the time I found out and opened the package, there was nothing in the bags that remotely resembled a live critter anymore. :(
This horrid event was due to poor communications between third party dealings, each guy thought the other was going to notify me, and I only had contact info for the guy who arranged it all.
I'd love to get my hands on some, but they are supposed to be cold-water critters, and that part would be my challenge since I don't have a chiller (nor the money for one right now). When I ordered them before, I had my 'poor man's chiller going regularly - which consisted of a stash of frozen 2-ltr bottles that I swapped into the filter box conglomeration twice a day.The ultimate oxymoron - Narcolepsy and ADHD.
Who says you can`t have it all??!!

We had those cocnut crabs on Guam and Diego Garcia when I was stationed at those places. Very powerful claws on them.Originally posted by MateFrio";p="How big do they get?

MarkWhat are the facts? Again and again and again--what are the facts? Shun wishful thinking, ignore devine revelation, forget what "the stars foretell", avoid opinion, care not what the neighbors think, never mind the unguessable "verdict of history"--what are the facts, and to how many decimal places? You pilot always into an unknown future; facts are your only clue.
