Eheim Pro Issue....

...Okay ya'll...I have this Eheim Pro, and it has lost its suction (basically stopped working) on 2 different occassions over the last month . I cleaned the filter, changed the media, replaced pads, etc...about 2 weeks ago, and it worked fine. Well, it has since stopped. So, do ya'll have any suggestions...could it be that it needs a new O-Ring, I have too much media in it which is blocking the flow, etc...Just don't know how to solve this issue. So what do ya'll think

Rings are usually the issue when suction is lost unless you can see air bubbles are caught in the intake.

Check that the impeller housing is cleaned and everything there is free to rotate.

Look for loose connections anything were air could be getting into the filter.

I guess you could replace case o-ring if you've done all this. Still does it could be an issue in the sution or spray bars. By anychance is your suction and discharge the upgraded "grey-clear" tubes or the Eheim green colored fittings?
