I had a old black magnetic algea scrapper. cracked all of the plastic housing off. used the magnets on top of the factory pc on the outside. I would say it's holding twice as good as before. But order some powerful magnets from jeebus's site and you will be happy. If you do call me I want some too.200

sell that piece of s@$% and buy you a cheap odysea ex550.....these things are the best powerhead for the cash... great flow...just my thinking i love my 550 and hated my koralia 4s....also comes with a prefilter210 gallon tank...empty.....wait till you see what is coming

The K4's actually move a decent amount of water.. it's just not as concentrated like out of the nozzle of your powerhead.Comment

It's not too late. Not hard to move the K4's for about the price you'd pay for MJ's and the kits. The magnet's a bit more, but probably worth it in your situation.Comment
