+1, these are the determining factors.

There is a sponsor on marshreef that might be able to make one for you.

I had an old twenty gallon that I tore off the rims, so now it is a rimless. Looks great and was way cheaper than buying an ADA tank.

I am just suggesting you buy a cheap tank with rims (100gallons +) and take the rims off yourself. It didn't take me more than 30 minutes for the 20, the 100 gallon would take awhile.

i could do that but isnt there a chance that it messes up the tank...

I wouldn't take the rim off that size of a tank.....

If you want a sand and canopy....why do you want it to be rimless?

The stand and canopy would cover the rim.

it ook the trim off of my 6 foot 125g, no problems at all, its been like that for over a month now.
looks awesome and took maybe an hour.

same with my 4 foot 75g, no trim, that one took like 45 minutes.

however, both of these tanks have thick glass middle braces, so they provide 99.9999% of the strength, wereas the trim on those was simply asthetics.

now if you go buy an all glass aquarium with the plastic middlew brace built into the trim of the tank and remove it, then your asking for trouble.
