glass cutters on sunday

anyone know where i can take a tank to be drilled on a sunday that won't charge me an arm and a leg?

trying to drill 4 holes 1-3/4 or 1-1/2 in wide. any tool places that you guys know of carrying a diamond hole cutter or similar tool?

really need these holes ASAP because i'm dealing with fish loss due to lack of space. trying to separate fish as fast as i can but i've already lost 2.

holes are for 3/4" bulkheads for a wetdry. if i cant find someone fast canisters it is

Use a dremel tool with a cutter that looks like a drill bit to cut the holes. I heard it works pretty good. How thick is the glass?

see i don't have a dremmel. we bought a diamond bit for the drill, but it's 3/8 in too small for my bulkheads, and thats the largest size the store carries. the only other place i've seen them is ebay. so i may have to order one.

overnighting one on ebay from a guy up in north texas. the only one i found locally they wanted 100 bucks for just the bit. but ultimately i have 4 tanks to drill, and i don't have a truck lol. so i should be getting the bit tomorrow. in the mean time, i'm separating the aggressive and the injured. this seriously wasnt happening till yesterday. all of a sudden my fish freaked and started going after one another. they killed a texas and a severum. i'm completely crushed. thanks again for all the help.

harwin is closed weekends, and texas city didn't have any. dont know if they dont carry them or were just out. thanks again for the help though!! really appreciate it!

my hubby is a MARSHian lol. he posted about needing the bit, even offered to give a frag or two to let us borrow one, but no replies as of yet.

yea we are a house divided, i'm a freshwater cichlidchic, hes a marshian reef keeper. i'm a texans fan, hes a cowboys fan. our sources of conflict are neverending. .

I have a set you can use. fits 1" and 3/4" blukheads.

gotti, lol, i have a replacement large tank, thats a 125. but the filter for it is a wet dry filter. there are no drilled holes in this tank, so i have to drill the tank to install the filter.


i have one "supposedly" coming in the mail at 8:30 AM. if this isn't the case, I"ll be taking you up on that R! and thank you all for the assistance!
