  • RENA XP2 Leaking Bad - Help

    my xP2 is leaking its dripping water from the handles the part you lift up to take off the top the back left one and the back right one is the worse help me someone plz

    Sounds like the O-ring is either out of place or damaged. Have you checked on that? You can order a replacement online IF that's actually the problem.

          i still have both of those on there its leaking from the clip part but only the back right now no were else

              no the flow slowed down to almost a stop and it said rinse off the propeller or what ever and idid its like it is overflowing and drippin off the clips im new to canisters so if anyone wants to come by and help plz contact me

                  Dump it and get a Eheim or Fluval FX5.

                      Have you opened it up and tried reseating everything again? I have several XP3s and cannot figure out how it would leak from the clips. And I also can't figure out how water would leak from any area if the o-ring is in good shape.

                        itls like the intake is more than the outake causing it to flood and the clips stick out so alll the flooding water just goes to the clips because the stick out

                          Here's a link to some FAQs for Rena filters. http://www.planetrena.com/Filstar-Rena-FAQ.html If these FAQs don't help, there are some phone numbers where maybe someone can help you over the phone. Depending on how old your filter is, they may just send you a new one, or at least new parts.
