No, that's not a paintball system. I said that just as a disclaimer, in case someone came along and said, "No, ANY system won't work..." :)
I also said any system will work for a 55+ tank because you stated that the one linked above was the only one you could find for a 55+ tank. Does that mean that you saw many others, but none of them actually stated they were for such a size? Or was it really the only system you found?

I found more than that one, but that one was the only one I found for a tank larger than 55g. All the other tanks were rated for 30g or less.
I'm just not understanding how they were rated for 30g or less. Most CO2 regulators we planted tankers use are the same, essentially. And a bottle, whether it is 2.5 pounds or 20 pounds, will last quite a while. A 10 pound bottle will probably last a year at LEAST on a 55g.
Of course, it is entirely possible that I am making no sense at all right now - I'm very drugged up on cold medicine, and very confused about life in general. )
1. No solenoide = not good for aquariums.
2. Presurized CO2 is rated for any tank size, just depend of the co2 bottle size (duration of CO2) and difusor.
Not a good deal IMO, cheap is not always a good deal.
+1 to what MB said. Any size is big enough it just depends on how much you want to refill it. You can put a 10lb on a 180G but you are going to be refilling it probably 3 times a year. I have a 15lb bottle split to a 90G and a 29G. No problems but it runs out in just under a year.
