  • Fluval G

I'll admit that I've had several of the old Fluvals leaks or break on me... but i like the FX5... and am curious to find out more about the G series

    Scarecrow : I haven't got a brain... only straw.
Dorothy : How can you talk if you haven't got a brain?
Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

Yeap...the more specilized parts = higher cost of ownership = increased bottom line for them...

i dont even like their idea too much...my ideas with high tech electronical parts + water = disaster....and cartridges for the media carbon etc...i like more freedom to choose exactly how i want to set it up...i have a feeling their will be many issues with this considering its the first "high tech" canister...never been a fan of fluval however i hear good things about the fx-5

For those of you who are on facebook.. Fluval's facebook account.. become a fan..

I am interested in seeing what they can do against a Eheim. I understand most of the advanced display stuff.. but in short.. how does it venture again an eheim classic canister.

I have had 3 different Fluval's. The canister is now in my parts box. My Fluval 2 and 3 Plus series internal sponge filters.. I still like them and use them. They are good for what they do. Interal filtration of the water. Basically I use them as power heads which have a filter on them so they do something functional rather than just move water.
