Diatomagic Filter Impeller Wanted

Hi,

I'm looking for a replacement impeller for a Whisper Diatomagic filter. I'm not even sure this filter is made any more. I did find a replacement online, and one on eBay as well, but it'd be great if I can find one locally and avoid the $8-10 shipping charge.

Ya that filter is not made any more. Finding that impeller would be like the needle in the haystack thing around here. Get 2 and you might get your money back someday when someone like me breaks mine. But I have not used that filter in years. When I saw it was discontinued I did buy 5 of the filter pads so if you need 1 I could sell you a couple. they wear out kind of quick if you use the filter a lot.

OK, that settles it for me! I'll go ahead and order the impeller online, and the suggestion to buy two wasn't a bad one at all. However, I will say that I saw a LOT of places where I can buy the replacements bags as well as the earth, so that doesn't appear to be a problem.

Just to follow up, I just ordered two impellers, two filter bags, and four bags of the earth media. I think I have four or five bags of the media already, so I should be set for now, and like I mentioned, I saw that stuff for sale all over the place, so it appears to be readily available.

I haven't used this filter in several years, so I'm excited to get it running again, as I always had great results with it. It's a nice little unit.

You can get a 20 Lb bag of the media at the pool store for about 10-15 bucks!

That should be a lifetime supply.
