    Sweet!

My other tip is to take two pieces of blue painters tape and put them horizontal on your sump. Put the bottom piece of tape to mark the lowest water level your pump can operate in, and put the other piece of tape to mark the highest point you can fill the sump, so that if your CPR overflow loses siphon but your sump pump keeps pumping, that it wont over flow your main tank. Worse thing that would happen is your burn out the pump from running it dry.

    THEN you can sleep! lol

      i am sorry matt...
      not quite understanding here...
i know the lowest level of the pump can operate in...
and the highest point i can fill the sump? do you mean all the way up to the sump? should i keep the water of the chamber that the pump is in at the lowest level which the pump can operate?
and how can it stop the water running to the main tank if the overflow broke?
      thanks...

Lets just say you lose suction from you cpr, meaning no water is returning to your sump. Your pump will continue to run and pump every bit of water in your sump into your tank. That water level in your sump should be no more than your tank can hold before it overflows on to the floor. That's your max height.

Yeah, force to go on a vacation with my gal.

I got so much going on at work it's not even funny. Been working more hours than normal. People tend to have more problems during the holiday for some reason.

Anyhow, my sure it works by cutting the power and selling it it's going to flood again. After this your wet/dry is going to be bullet proof!

p.s. make sure to clean the filter floss weekly.

One thing when I start a sump I dont EVER start the pump I continue filling the tank until the sump is 60% filled with water. I stop filling the tank and let EVERYTHING settle. Having never turned on the pumps (aqua lifter has to be turned on) I ensure that as much water that will ever go into the sump has occurred. Then I turn on the pump and the water level in the sump will lower. Where ever it settles to I take a perm marker and make a small line at. This is my "while pumps are running fill line" then when the pump(s) are running and I want to add water in the tank (because the sump is low) I know how much water I am allowed to add because I now know where the max fill while things are running fill line is at. This way if I have a power failure, I know exactly how much water will go into the sump and not much more (this is why I fill only 60% while everything is off)

                    man...i wanna a vacation....
i guess i should of book the trip awhile ago...now its like 3 times more expansive...oh god...no money..not going anywhere...
ya...i turned it off for like 10 mins and watched it, the water line stopped there in the sump then i think it is good...
i just need to figure out how many water to have in the last chamber where the sump at and the waterline in the tank right?
like the guys mentioned, if i have too many water in the last chamber, if the overflow busted, then i am busted again too...
