Well today I was doing my normal water change and turned on the water to fill the 2 300G tubs. Well, I thought I was finished and went inside. Went out about 3.5 hours later to find my garage was flooded. Opened the garage door to let the small lake in my garage drain to the street.
Luckily all the T's are fine thanks to the great "Crowder Carbon Snake". It just saved me 2000 bucks of fish. That would of put the hurt on me!! Just to show you that a hundred dollar investment can save you lots and lots of money in the long run.
Lesson of the Day:
1. Don't go inside or get distracted when you are doing water changes.
2. Don't forget to put out for a carbon snake
3. Even though I don't have to , I still use sodium thiosulfate to declorinate what is left after the snake does its thing.
Sorry for the Longggggg post
