So ecotech marine came out with this new upgrade kit.

I didn't really think I need one b/c my two mp40w are already on master/slave mode and the added functions with the ecosmart just wasn't something I need for my fresh water tank.

Well, I went home on Friday last week and I had a box at my door. It was a brand new ecosmart! But right away, I knew something was up b/c on the reef forums people are saying these things are on back order. Why in the world would ecotech just send me one for free?

So I emailed them this Friday night:

"To whom is may concern:

I recently got the ES driver sent to my door step. I did not place this order. The charge did not show up on my credit card account. My name is Thai-Anh Nguyen. I do have two mp40w with battery back up about one year old. But I have never order the ES driver. I'm sure this was some kind of mistake. Please let me know what is going on with this issue. I do not want this going on my credit report if you guys find that my credit card company will not pay for this. Please get back with me soon.

So this morning they replied with this:

Thank you. For your honesty, I’ll let you keep the ES drivers for no charge. I think it’s the least I can do for you since you brought this to our attention.

I'm still WOWed by this! Talk about good customer service! I'll post some pictures once I figure out how this thing works and hook it up to my pumps.

Didn't even plug it in yet man. I still got to read the manual. I didn't want to mess with it to much before today cause it wasn't mind yet!

I might just get a used MP10 and used the ES driver on my upgraded reef tank.

Just did the install on this thing.

Wasn't hard at all.

I really like the new on/off option.
