running one bulb on shop light

is there anyway to make the shop light not flicker while running 1 bulb? it works but every minute or so it flicks for half a second. it doesnt bother me THAT much but its good if there was a way to diy it to make it not flicker. i dont wanna be running 64w when one 32w looks the same. thanks guys.

Does it flicker if you install 2 lamps? If it still does then maybe its the ballast, lamp, or loose connections.

i dont think it flickers with 2..i just didnt want to run 2.

Just replace your ballast for one thats a 1 light ballast. I can check tomorrow if I can find one.
