Hey I know size matters here. I have an Americle wet dry sump that is 24"long x 14" tall x 8" deep (front to back). Is this big enough for a 90g with a Mag 9.5 or is this sump to small? If this dont work, John you gonna have to come out to Waller and help a brotha. .

Put blue bonded pad on the drip tray for some mechanical filtration. You can put some micron pad on there, but just stay on top of changing it out because it will clog fast380G For Sale $3000 Acrylic tank & stand

The top of your aquarium (I assume) is 48" x 18" so the area would measure 864 sq. in. The top of your sump is 24" x 8" so that area would be 192 sq. in.
If you divide 864 by 192 you get 4.5. Therefore, if the water level fell 1 inch in the aquarium the water level would rise in the sump by 4.5 inches.
If your overflow is set anywhere close to the right level, you have nothing to worry about.Jarrod - Houston, Texas
