I just got a brand new eheim 2262 canister filter. Is this too much for a 90g? If it is, I might consider selling it. What do you guys think?

Since you posted this in African Cichlids, I'm assuming that's what's in the 90g. But what kind of cichlids specifically?
That's a lot of flow, but some can definitely handle it while for others it might be too much."Millennium hand and shrimp!"

It will work fine you may need even more flow depending on what you keep and how many.
