Cleaning Python

I have a Python hose that is filled with all this brown algae looking stuff on the inside. Does anyone know the best way to get rid of it besides buying new tubing?

5 gal bucket of water with 4 cups of bleach. Hook up a power head to one end of hose and drop it in the bucket. Clamp other end of hose into the bucket. Plug in and let run for 3hr-24hr's. Dump bleach water,fill with fresh water and add dechlorinater and run for a couple of hours.
