  • Koralia Evolution is Here!

Just put these on the tank when I got home tonight and im loving these bad boys!

    2-750's
    2-1400's

Best part is no 'clickety clacking' on start up. these things are dead quiet.

Im using the 1400's with the wave maker on my 125g troph/petro tank and the 750's on my 25g reef. The 750's will be plugged into my reefkeeper so they will also be alternating on and off.

    this is a 1400 \/ \/

    comparison of a K3 and a 1400

Another great feature of these is that the front no longer screws on. It has two 'clips' that you simply press on both sides and its off. If your like me those old screw on ones can give you some problems after cleaning.

damn, you give pics and they want vids

geoff, comparing the K3 (850gph/6.5watts) and the 1400 (1400gph/6.0watts) not only is it slightly smaller but pushing more water. if you were to compare it to a K4 (1200gph/ 8.5watts) it is much smaller and still more gph and less watts.

Mike, I think comparing this set-up with the MP40w would be a winner!

                      ooooooooh.....sounds good to me.

I did notice some T-positioning last night after I hooked it up, the kind of thing which normally happens after a WC.

You so see a tigher schooling action too.

The petros in my 8 footer schooled a lot tighter after I added the mp40s.

If you look at the pictures I just posted you will notice that the fishes are swimming in the same direction.

They just school back and forth all day.

I got them at www.marinedepot.com . I havn't seen them at any lfs here but i've seen the 1400's online anywhere from $45-80. marine depot has them at $47 right now.

got mine at City pets, but I think HAW has them too. I only paid like $36. They had the old and the new for about the same price so I picked up the evolution.
