    I had the last gen on a 8 gallon and everything was happy! But then again it was the 36"-48" model and the corals were only 6-7 inches from the light. Might work for low light corals.

    Two things that sucks with this fixture...

    1). The switch is gay. It's a 3 way toggle switch thing. So press it to the left and it's only blues. Middle is off and right is white + blue. So you couldn't put a timer on it to get blues at night.

    2) it's not grounded. I always felt that current everytime I touched anything metal on the fixture.

      I think this light would work good on like a ADA 60-f or maybe a standard 20L.

      Got to be something short. Maybe keep more light demanding corals high up on the rock scape and save the bottom for mushrooms.

      But it does suck to put out 400 bucks for a light that just really don't do it all.
      I ate my fish that died.

        Wow 400 bucks? And it's not even 3 watt LEDs. They still using 1w LEDs for this new fixture too.

        I can't even imagine how much the 3w are gonna be.
