    Can someone recommend a Galleria area vendor that sells this sort of stone and about what I should expect to pay per pound?

    Most likely you will pay 7¢ to 20¢ a lb depending on thickness of the flagstone. The THINNER it is the more it cost. I don't know if Houston prices are jacked like Austin or lower like New Braunfel/San Antonio.

          I think it has already been handled. It was for a tank, and he had more than enough
