I got the "do-it-yourself" T-5 and saved about $100 per fixture. There are 4 x 36" bulbs. I have two white and two blue bulbs. What a huge difference the lighting makes. I will get photos added tonight.

Glad to finally have the canopy on the tank. I had a fish jump out on me. Fortunately, my daughter heard it and we got him right back into the tank. Fish seems to be doing just fine.

I love those things. I got rid of the standard light on my eclipse12 and put stunners in. Great stuff.

I couldn't believe how bright that thing is. I almost bought three so that I wouldn't have the shadows at either end. I am glad I only got one. I only wanted it for a "moon light".

wow Tank looks GREAT!!! is the red fish in there a red jewel? Mine doesn't have colors like that at all. When he was about 2 months old he started to relly get red and then it all went away and he is yellowish orange now.

Yes. Red Jewel. I have a male and female about 4 inches long. The male is really nice with some blue spots mixed in. The female is a really powerful red.

These two have been trying to mate for some time now. Their eggs are getting laid but they aren't making it.
