hi all..
i am about to add some purigen to the canister, but I've noticed that it described as:Not to be used with any products with slime coat in them as this can cause the product to become toxic.
Is this the true statement? if so what products i have to watch out for that may have slime coat in them? as of now i mix my own Sodium Thiosulfate solution as Dechlorinator when i do my water change..and pretty much that is the only thing i am going to add in there, of cause medications will be added if applicable.
So i should be good?
and also, is it bad or any benefit if i put more purigen in filter than what it suggests? i think it suggests 100ml can do for 100g of water, what if I do 200ml if the fish load is larger? any benefit or just unnecessary?
thanks.
