  • HOB power filter lovers!!

i've been running bio wheel filters since 07 till early 2010. then i made the switch to aquaclear and loved it.

i recently started up a 55 gallons tank. i have a emperor 400 and 2 tetra 30-60 filters laying around. but i though what the heck, let's go see what's new.

looked around and picked up the fluval c4. oh man, if you like aquaclear, the C series will blow all the competition out of the water. if you can afford the price difference between the AC, then definitely go for one of these C series.

    here's an old review.
Hey guys, I was in the market for another filter since mine was on the fritz the other day, and I ended up buying a fluval... C2? (I think that's what it's called). Anyway, I wanted to share my experience. Yes, it is a little more expensive than the ACs. For me, it was about 7 bucks. At...

I've never heard or seen one until now. Looks really cool. I however have a AC110 that once belonged to JHenry. I'm the third owner of it. It works perfectly. Great flow. Plenty of suction. Easy to clean for that matter. Wish I had another one.

Wow this think looks like the bomb.

5 stages of filtration and indicators telling you when it needs cleaned.

Looking foward to hearing some reports.

I've been very happy with my Fluval C2. The only other fluval product I've been satisfied with is my FX5.

              I still want a G2 though . . .

Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

the indicator is really simple, just a floating peace of plastic when the floss get too dense and water level rise.

i got mine from foster and smith aquatic

Looks like DFSA has them on sale until the 23rd, 25% off - so the biggest one (70gal) is $45

That's a great price. Would definitely make a great addiion to one of my larger tanks.
