Fx5 question

Idk lol, I pulled it out and wiped it off. I am leaving the ball valve open and letting the plugged piece of tubing on it act as a plug.

That's weird....I bet that what you think is an open valve is really a closed valve . If it was leaking with the valve closed...then it should be spewing with the valve open . Btw....was it leaking from the spout on the valve or was it actually leaking from where the valve connects to the filter body ?

I agree if the valve was open it should be spewing. Unless i have a piece of plugged tubing on the end of the ball valve. I think with the valve closed, the pressure is pushing on the ball inside the valve. When its open the pressure is on the plug in the tubing. If that makes any sense...
