What you will need in addition to the MJ 1200 Kit:
Small rubber o-rings or washers
plastic zip ties
Then grab the two impeller assemblies provided in the kit:

Remove the two stoppers at the end of the assemblies right next to the impellers.
The one on the circulation mode assembly should have teeth/steps:

The one on the pump/powerhead assembly should have a smooth white surface:

Then get some o-rings or something similar to add between the impeller and the stopper. Install the stopper from the pump/powerhead assembly onto the circulation mode assembly with the o-rings taking up the space between the stopper and the impeller. Leave a small bit of slack, maybe 1/16", and put it back into the housing. Then zip tie the cover on to the housing and then slide on the mount.




And that results in this:
