I usually fill them all full of ehfi-substrat pro. I like to run all canisters for bio only with the coarse sponge at the bottom.700g Mini-Monster tank -
well how much would you say fills one, 4 cups or more or less orby weight... 0.5..1.0 lb? me myself have no idea how much goes in one.Comment

The trays really don't hold much so I would say the total would be about 3cups and then whatever leftover space you could fill with filter floss.700g Mini-Monster tankComment

2217 has trays to hold media?
lol, I always just fill the thing up full with media in a bag. No sponge or anything.I ate my fish that died.

They make media bags. I ordered the media bags from Dr.FandS. My bags are for 2260/62 so I'm sure they have smaller ones for the 2217.
If not use panty hose.I ate my fish that died.

Ugh don't want to DIY anything. Just want to buy the bag.
If I did DIY something it would be a stainless tray system. But I am way to lazy for all that.Comment
