Rena Smart Heater?

Just aquired a smart heater and just had a question.

I know you can connect a canister intake to it or I believe a power head as well.

Question is, can this heater be run by itself? Without canister or powerhead?

Yes it can, or it can connect to a rena canister or smartfilter hob.

Yes, it can. Fits perfectly on xp canisters and will fit on most other canister intakes, but it can run by itself.
