i like that finnex other than the throw away crap filter and lights, im not sure about putting a 50 lb aquarium on my cubical desk tho...maybe a terrarium

well i dont have a cubicle man. i have an L shape desk 74"x74" and its 50lbs of dead weight. so finnex equipment is trash?

the 6g is nice but they jsut said that the finnex canister is trash. the same 6g y it self is 49.00 the 8.9g its not bad either. but i want it for an office desk so a 4 is jsut great or a 6 for me.

actually i misspoke myself on the filter, i was thinking marineland. i have heard that he HOB finnex is quite good and a friend has the cannister which is aslo good. i like the cannister almost as much as my zoo med 501. those low watt LED lights are terrbile though. i would definately go PC or higher end LED for a small planted tank. I will be experiementing with 11W T2VHO lights here soon.
