  • Help with Azoo battery backups

Does anybody have instructions for these pumps? Looked online but could not find anything.

If I plug mine into an outlet with the dial set at "off" nothing happens. If I set the dial to either "Hi" or "Lo", then the charge light comes on. So does that mean it has to be on all the time? Is there a setting where the pump only comes on when power goes out?

    I have this model:

I have this same pump. It's design to stay on and switch over to battery back up. Charge light just means your battery is not fully charged.

Thanks Thai. I do have one of those PennPlax pumps too and I was hoping the Azoo would work the same. Looks like I'll be selling mine now.

Lol, its not a bad pump. I got it as a battery back up for my tumblers....which needs to stay on all the time.

But I do agree it does suck that there is no off setting that allows it to turn on when power goes out. For 80 bucks you would think it had that option.

It's a very nice pump. It's just that I don't like to see bubbles unless the power it's out

            Yeah, me neither.

If anyone runs a wet/dry, they don't even need a bubble maker.

You don't run tumblers? If you breeding fish you need tumblers brahhhh.

I let mine spit into the net because I don't have it in me to pry open fish and get wigglers man. I just log when they start holding and pay attention to the tank around day 22 - 25. Has worked out well do far with healthy fry coming out. Less stress for fish and me.

Anybody looking to buy Azoo backups? PM me, I have three that I need gone.

I have 3 of them as well. I keep them off during working hrs and turn them on after hours for backup. 18-24hr isn't bad at all.

Thai, you know for how long the Silent Air B11 last during power outage?

When I borrowed it, it ran for almost 12hrs non-stop and I'm sure the batteries weren't new at the time.

Speaking of which, I owe you a set of batteries Thai. LoL
