  • Anyone know where to get alder cones cheap?

after reading several articles about it I want to try some for myself but google/ebay/aquabid all show out of country sellers.

I know mzjinkz sells them but want to see if there are any other cheaper options.

From the looks of it these things might be what I need to continue using tap water for my shrimp and stuff.

I'm thinking about that too... want to get some of the bamboo caves for my cpo cause it looks nicer but I might resort to that.

I found one person on all of ebay that is stateside for the alder cones so I got those coming. Gonna use them in my water aging container.

the cholla i have is sorta dissentegrating? if you just leave it alone its fine but once you pick it up the wood starts falling off it like crazy.. pretty messy.

              $8 shipped LoL

This stuff is suppose to be like IAL on crack and they are tiny cones so I could use them in my filters without making a big mess like the IAL.

That was the one of few online stores I found... add one to your cart and see what they ask for shipping.

These are like tiny pine cones but if you check out the link in my first post they are freaking amazing.

I could probably spare a few for yall to try out but I imagine I would be using the bulk of it with all my water changes I do.
