  • Eheim Classic 2213/2215 vs Fluval 206

    Hi Everyone

I have a 20G tank with a few African Cichlids in it.
At the moment i have a Fluval U4 wich is ok, but
i want to upgrade to canister filter.

After doing some research it has come down to:

    1) Fluval 206
    2) Eheim Classic 2213/2215

So, i was wondering if any one here has had experience
with both brands and can share his/her thoughts?

    Thanks
    Theo

    I run a 2215 or 2217 on 20gal. long works good!

Small ADA nano (~8gal): ... BKK or OEBT breeding tank in the works!

I have two eheim 2217 both with purigen on a 56 gallon tank and a Rena xp2 on a 20 gallon with eheim substrat pro and purigen. The xp2 on the 20 gallon does an excellent job on that tank.

I like Eheim Classics and Rena Filstars . . . I'm not a fan of any Fluval canister except FX5 and G4

Scarecrow: I don't know... But some people without brains do an awful lot of talking... don't they?
Dorothy: Yes, I guess you're right.

2215 all the way. Use the fluval for a door stop.

              Wow!
I can't believe Fluval is lagging so far behind.
Looks like Eheim is the way to go...

Thanks for everyone who took the time to reply :)
