so i was reading on the eheim site and it says that the 2262 supppose to be equipped with filter sponges and/or loose filter media??? all the LFS sells them with no media. are they taking it and parting it out and reselling what were suppose to get when buying the 2262?

Most LFS have the 2260, all the ones I have seen that have the "upgraded pkg" to the 2262 have no media included.
hmmm... amazon says different.

Ive never seen a 2260/62 sold with media, online or a retail store. Some places give free media for you.Comment

yea pretty sure he wouldn't do that. maybe with the new shipments eheim is including the sponges or the loose filters. the one i got was probably from the earlier batches before the media was included? IDK im not really worried just trying to see if it really came with media like the site statesComment
