    Wondering whether 20 ppi Poret sponge is too fine for the bottom of my canisters. What do y'all think?

    I think thats too fine but I'm not sure. I think 30ppi is shrimp safe.

      Not for shrimp so not worried about that. Next option is 10ppi

        maybe go with a 10ppi, some efimech, and then a 30ppi? the rena filstars use a 20ppi then a 30ppi but thats not poret.

        he is selling a 45ppi for shrimp now, but i am sure thats just for HMF

          I dunno about the 30 ppi though...

          Think I'll do a 10ppi at the bottom and a 20ppi on top of everything.

            That's what I would do Sunny, seeing as though you like mechanical filtration, maybe even double up on the 20ppi

                If we order 13"x13" pieces, those will work for the 2262 canisters.
