I just use the valve to start the syphon, then I disconnect the hose and either route the hose to the garden or drain in the bathtub.

No guys, I started this thread to show how small the venturi is in the water changer. Pure and simple.

I would leave it alone. The pressure is would makes it suck faster. I use the 1262 to drain my stream tank lol fast.Comment

Not only that, when filling up the tank, the water exciting the venturi has to turn 180° and then 90° to get into the hose. Talk about head loss.Comment

It works for me so I use it lol...
