  • Need filtration ideas

Gonna start planning for my newest 135 gallon tank. Gonna move my wet dry and put it on there and thinking about an eheim. What else should I do with it?

Most wet/drys have a pump that is rated at 600gph. Or more. That by it self is enough. Some fish need more flow then others. So the fish you choose will tell if you need more.

You did not list what you plan on keeping, what type of routine you plan on using as far as maintenance nor size of return pump on the wet/dry.

I would think that is plenty for the average fish keeper.

I have a tank full of Canary Cheek Trophs, Micro Kiriza Cyps, Red Ndole Trophs, Silver Dollars, and I plan on getting some WC Canary Cheeks imported soon. Keeping my fingers crossed. I'll eventually try to get some petros.

very worthless when asking for help with suggestions.
I think filters are based on stocking level.

                    Yes, YAY!!!

It takes dedication to do 95% water changes twice a week and I applaud the effort that moganman puts in to keep his fish healthy.

I have some things in mind. I'm sure my filtration choice will be fine. Just wanted to hear some suggestions because I like to learn new things from people with more success than me

I had a wet/dry and an FX5 on my 125 for a while and that was plenty and I wasn't even doing weekly water changes at the time. You should have better results with the water change schedule you have.

Thanks. I wanna do two wet drys and a big eheim. Something like a 2262 or two 2217s. Maybe a FX5. Gotta see how the tank turns out. Gonna do a water test tomorrow. The petros will come last if I actually decide to get some. They'll be fry if I do get some though.
