Sounds like it might work out

My brother might be going that way, if I don't have the fish moved by then I will take you up on your offer.

He fish needs room to turn around in case it decides to, don't want it panicking and breaking its back trying to turn around.

I have a 100g rubbermaid tub that john let me borrow so transport seems to be taken care of, now just need to transfer the fish somehow.

When we transported some huge koi (29") we caught up by lifting with pillow case to container so no tangle in threads like a towel. Had to do this in Austin at a private home & they grossly under estimated length lol Being a catfish wear gloves too
using 2 people will keep you away from fins & dropping level in tank (EK water change) means less chasing/ less stress
they will ruin a net & cut themselves Catfish handle being up out of water pretty well for the move from tank to transport tubi have to bring my dwarf giraffe cat (22")inside for winter every year & he handles it well

Have also just used heavy black bag inside a large cooler. Dark keep them quieter & reduces desire to move much

      Good luck ! V

        Been procrastinating on this move.

Thanks for all the input, hopefully it will all go well as soon as I find a good day with nothing interrupting

Grab him by the lips like a bass fisherman and have a nice photo taken....Joke...Big (bullred type) net and walk him out to the tub and dump him in.

Sigh, hopefully I can get the needed time to move them this coming weekend.

Thanks again John for letting me borrow the tub, I'll drop it off when I finish with it and will drop off the washer if you still interested in it.
