Yeah that's the plan. Wake up early whole the fish are sleep and do a water change. Fall temps should start to settle in so it'll be all good

So I woke up this morning at 6 and tested the water temp. Still fluctuating from 83.5-84. Could the hot water heater possibly regulate the cold water too?

LOL truly a problem. I never have a problem with the water being too hot from the faucet, but it could be the heater as a prevention to the pipes freezing over during the winter?
