I shop vac-ed ~50lbs of leftover PFS when my back was broken from the first 50lbs. Also used it to suck out the remaining argonite+water from my current tank after I'd scooped out as much as I could (btw, anyone want ~ 70lbs of argonite? I dont actually know how much it weighs but I'm pretty strong and it was heavy.... hah)

I might be interested in the aragonite.

+2 but I would say never leave any tank unattended while refilling. Imagine if a very large tank were to overflow... :icon_hang:

I mean at least with a bigger tank you have at least 10-15 min to go grab something to eat.

i fill my tank up slowly so the safe can work and the carbon can work also.

Very true. Just don't forget the water is on! I've had my tank almost overflow several times

Me too and I didn't even leave it unattended LOL just couldn't run to the shut off fast enough. I underestimated how fast the last 2" can fill up in a 20g

Man this has happened to me twice already, one time is when i was installing a wetdry and left it unattended while filling up the tank flooded my whole room. Second time i was draining water out a 2260 when the hose snap off at the bottom drain. Now i watch like a hawk to make sure nothing like this ever happens. It sucks to clean up water spill from the floor and especially on carpet.

Means residual moisture is lingering. Better get to cleaning ASAP.

Maybe this was mentioned, but how much water do you think spilled?

Ouch! How much were you able to suck up? My guess is water has completely saturated the carpet pad...

Get a steam cleaner as previously mentioned. I have a dehumidifier you can borrow to help dry things out.
