Does anybody disinfect nets to stop cross-contaminating parasites, snails, and such from tank too tank? If so, please explain how you do it and what you use. Thanks.

Most folk I know use 1 part bleach to 10 parts water, though I never usually do this to our nets. Should we ever have any disease in our tanks I would though. I'd just give them a little rinse in Prime after bleaching them. Even a small sprayer bottle would probably work and be much less hassle then setting up a dip bucket. In the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

I allways see nets sitting in stores in a bucket of some type of blue water. ?? Not sure whats in it.
But i think a bucket of straight tap with some copper safe will kill stuff. Never had an issue like this before.5 gal baby hecqui grow out

Vinegar and hot water. Old school, but some things never change. Great preventative and disinfectant. If I have any type of problem, I'll then go to bleach and water - then after rinsing, soak in water with prime or dechlorinator. Thanks so much,
